The Effect Of Isotonic Solution Immersion On Tooth Enamel Hardness After Topical Application Of CPP-ACPF And fTCP

Introduction: The addition of topical CPP-ACPF and fTCP on tooth enamel can improve hardness due to remineralization process. Demineralization occur during acid environment in the oral cavity decrease. Objective: To determine effect isotonic solution immersion compare after application. Methods: Thirty six crowns maxillary first premolars were divided into three groups, each consisted 12 crowns. baseline sample (pre-test) was tested using Vicker’s Hardness Tester Digital. Afterwards, applied group A, B, artificial saliva C (control) for 24 hours, then re-assessed (post-test 1). Immersion conducted hours simulate demineralization process, re- assessed 2).
